With the ITRIA bowl, Olivier Gagnère is making a veiled reference to Ettore Sottsass. We find in this object some of the characteristics of the Memphis group, namely the notion of the juxtaposition of forms in a game of balance-imbalance linked to a renewal of color relationships.
